Our mission goes beyond the name at the Seneca Fire Department (SFD), a multi-role safety organization. The Seneca Fire Department protects lives and property through extensive fire prevention and safety education efforts, in addition to a quick and effective response to emergencies.

We enjoy being very active in the community so that you, the taxpayer, can see that we do more than just respond to fires. In addition to responding to fires we also:

• Child Passenger Safety Seat Program
• Home Safety Inspections
• Business Fire Safety Inspection
• Provide First Aid at Public Events
• Assist Oconee Medical Center
