Seneca Transit

Transition to On-Demand Service Effective August 4, 2025, the City of Seneca will be replacing its fixed-route bus service with a new, more flexible on-demand transit model. This change reflects our continued commitment to enhancing mobility options and improving service delivery for all residents.

How the On-Demand Service Works

How the On-Demand Service Works

Seneca Transit’s new system allows residents to schedule rides based on their personal travel needs, rather than fixed bus stops or routes. Riders can request point-to-point transportation:

  • By phone at (864) 332-5424
  • Via a mobile app (coming soon)

All trips must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance.

Service Hours

Monday through Saturday
6:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Service Area

The transit service operates within the City of Seneca and extends up to one mile beyond city limits. Requests outside this zone may be approved on a case-by-case basis, depending on availability.
