Facility Rentals
Welcome to the City of Seneca Facility Rentals page. The City of Seneca offers eight facilities available for public rental.

How It Works
Renting a City facility is simple. Follow these six steps:
Step 1: Choose Your Facility & Review Fees
Browse the available facilities listed below and review the Fee Schedule. Select the facility and space that best fits your event and budget.
Step 2: Submit Your Application
Complete and submit the online application at least 30 days before your event. You will receive an email confirmation once your application has been received.
Step 3: Receive Approval
City staff will review your request and confirm availability. You will be notified once your event has been tentatively approved. Important: Do not purchase insurance until you receive approval from City staff.
Step 4: Insurance & Payment
Once approved, obtain liability insurance ($1,000,000 minimum) and pay your deposit and rental fees at least 7 business days before the event. Fees may be paid online, in person, or by mail.
Step 5: Event Day
Pick up your key at least 12 hours before your event. Arrive at your scheduled start time. Setup and cleanup must be included within your reserved hours. All events must end by 10:00 PM.
Step 6: Post-Event Inspection
Return the key the next business day. City staff will inspect the facility no later than 1:00 PM that day. Your deposit will be returned if the facility is left in satisfactory condition.
Key Requirements
- Application submitted at least 30 days before event
- Liability insurance ($1M minimum) required — obtain after application approval
- Refundable security deposit required (generally $250 — varies by facility)
- Rental fees paid at least 7 business days before event
- 2-hour minimum rental applies to all facilities
- All events must end by 10:00 PM unless prior City approval is obtained
- Keys picked up at least 12 hours before event and returned the next business day

Alexander Amphitheater

Covered stage with seating for approximately 2,000 in downtown Seneca. Three rental tiers (Passive, Active Major Use) plus wedding packages.
Howard Complex (Tim Howard Gym)

Gymnasium available for sports, practices, and community events.
Blue Ridge Field

Pavilion rentals available in half-day (4 hours) and full-day (8 hours) options.
Cunningham Park

Adams Field, Kapp Field, and Fields 1–3 available for athletic events and practices.
City Hall — Council Chambers

Professional meeting space available in half-day (4 hours) and full-day (8 hours) rentals.
Water Treatment Plant — Conference Room

Conference room with weekday and weekend rates. L&W customer discount available. Note: Alcohol is prohibited at this facility.
