The City of Seneca is currently accepting applications for the following position:

Assistant Finance Officer

Performs a variety of routine and complex professional, administrative and technical
accounting and finance functions in maintaining the fiscal records and systems of
the City, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll
and other subsystems. Reports to the Finance Officer. Supervises clerical positions
within the Finance Department.

Applicants must have considerable knowledge of computers and electronic data
processing, working knowledge of modern office practices and procedures, the
ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, ability to establish
successful working relationships, and the ability to work under pressure and/or
with frequent interruptions.

Minimum qualifications include: a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with specialized
course work in accounting, finance, or business management and Five (5) years of
increasingly responsible finance experience. Must be bondable.

Salary is based upon qualifications.
